Promoting respectful, healthy, and productive workplace relationship

Conflict Management Services (OCMS) is a program created collaboratively by Academic Affairs and Human Resources.  Its purpose is to promote positive, productive workplace relationships among members of the campus community through educational programs and by providing a safe, neutral and non-punitive environment for colleagues to discuss and resolve relationship-based challenges.

OCMS represents an important addition to campus services dedicated to supporting faculty and staff, including Academic Affairs; Human Resources; Equity, Diversity and Compliance; Counseling for Faculty and Staff; the Office of Disability Services, and the University Ombudsman.  Collectively, these campus resources operate on the premise that our individual and organizational success is dependent upon the quality of human relationships and a work environment based on mutual respect.
